Case Discussion Dashboard

The Case Discussion module is a dashboard which auto-filters upon login to display discussions for cases assigned to you (i.e., the currently logged in user). You can remove the filter to see all case discussions. The Case Discussion dashboard has several key benefits in helping you manage discussions, including the ability to filter and search for cases and the ability to click Open on a line item in the grid to open the discussion thread of the most recent discussion message associated with the case.

Dashboard highlights:

  • The dashboard displays seven (7) columns by default: Workspace Name, Case#, Status, Body, From(email), To (email), and Date.

  • Clicking a Workspace link opens the workspace related to the case.

  • Click a Case# link opens the case.

  • Click Open on a line item in the grid to open the discussion thread of the most recent discussion message associated with the case.

  • Two additional hidden columns, Category and Type, can be displayed by clicking the vertical three dot menu (i.e., kebab) icon next to any displayed column, selecting Columns and then selecting the column.

  • Quick Search and More search options allow you to search and filter case discussions.

To access the Case Discussion Dashboard:

  1. Once the Case Discussion module is added to your user profile, you can access the dashboard from the modules bar located at the top of the ClientSpace workspace.


  2. To search, you can do any of the following:

    • Sort by columns. See Search dashboards.

    • Use Quick Search. See Quick Search.

    • Use More search to search by Workspace, Case Number, Case Category, Case Type (requires Case Category selection), Case Status, Assigned To, From Address, To AddressDate Range, and Response (Client or Internal User). See More Search.
